This was the week of the symposium, and I felt accomplished on the improvement and knowledge gained from the experience. I took a plentiful amount of notes that covered a variety of the topics at the symposium. In addition, I was able to gather the contact information of many other students and even professionals with similarities on my topic. This week, as I believe it will consist of connecting with professionals, I need to use the knowledge gained in order to give me an upper hand when communicating with professionals in my field of interest. Although I did gain a lot of more experience and knowledge, I still have a grudge on my mannerisms and experience in the interview portion. During my second interview, I felt almost burnt out from my first interview and I only now reflect upon my immature mannerisms that I believe took place during my second interview. With this in mind, I only believe that the professional in this situation did not help adequately. I felt as if this professional (though I have no standing to say this) was there only to promote his website. During the interview, he fell asleep and began to ask nonsensical questions pertaining to my family and heritage. We didnt even get to the segment of resume critique. With that in mind, I feel as if my interviews were practiced to the best of my ability at the time; I now have to practice my endurance of focus and maturity over a prolonged period of time.
