The Rising Action

I have begun to finally indulge in my topic, taking precarious steps to ensure my knowledge of software development is without flaws and chiseled to be at what is expected of me. Through the second week of ISM, I have been grateful enough to have dedicated time to review articles regarding decentralized apps and their effects on society, as well as the integration of artificial intelligence into the common life of using technology and its efforts to make processes more efficient. However, looking through the articles led me to question artificial intelligence and its questionable superiority when compared to the learning of a human mind, as its accuracy and precision are tailored to the ambiguity of a statement, and not the specificity of certain prompts. In addition, the task of machine learning especially strikes an interest, as I find it impossible to question its impeccable quirks and abilities to synthesize a response based on recurrence. Although I was able to dissect this knowledge from the articles, my understanding of the language of both led me to the internet to further my understanding of subtopics, creating a paradox of blue links where one followed another. Discussing the matters with my father helped clear my headspace: I can understand the processes of blockchains and their interactions with decentralized apps, while also being educated on other subtopics regarding software development as a whole. Next week, I hope to work on further developing these skills, as well as acting upon finding a mentor, which would have a positive influence on my understanding of the topic. Regarding professional development, I reached my goal of time management of time, finishing tasks ahead of schedule, and holding myself accountable to stay ahead of the class to provide room for understanding and hiccups in ISM. Although I reached this goal, I want to improve my knowledge on my subject, as I feel like even though I have an above-average interpretation of software development, I feel as if it could always be better. I will solve this problem by further defining my knowledge by reading articles on topics of software development, specifically the linking between the user interface and a server, as well as the different classes of this situation.
