This week, in addition to a very beneficial interview, I was able to progress on my original work. For this session, I realized a lot of flaws and dead ends in my example and decided to redo the parent interface of the UI. Taking inspiration from the iphone settings, I was able to construct some parameters in the parent interface; building a section for communication, screen time, choice of subject, and content restrictions. Though each is very barren and not as visually appealing as other designs, it is intuitive and gets across the point of my application. I now plan to start a research paper over the effects of technology on childrens health. 

Like mentioned, I was able to attend my final required interview with a software engineer and entrepreneur, Brandon Ward. I took heavy influence and inspiration from his ideologies and experience, as I saw similarities between his upbringing, and the extent to which ive been a child. He was able to talk to me about a mentality that is overlooked by the industry of coding and programming: the mindset. He informed me about different books and resources that would give me this mentality, and with this, he rationalized my thoughts and ideas on the subject as a whole.
