As the week before Thanksgiving break, it felt rushed and unproductive, but I tried to make the most of what was short. Due to having ISM only twice that week, I saw value in connecting with my mentor as I would be unable to connect with him while traveling. Through this, I was able to get an agenda of what he saw would be fit for me to accomplish in a timely manner. 

In addition to this, I was also able to witness some reasearch speeches. Although the speeches presented did not have anything to do with artificial intelligence and software development, I still was able to be motivated by witnessing their intrinsic drive and what each has accomplished so far in comparison to me. From this, I was able to find more inspiration in completing my assignments and connecting with more people in order to meet the new expectations I set. I plan to network myself and finish all my interviews in order to catch up to my expectations. In order to accomplish this efficiently, I plan to work on reaching out again, instead of relying on the computer science meetup later down the line.
